Ayurvedic Practitioners Association
The APA is a unifying professional association, guided by the principles of inclusion, transparency and accountability. The APA was established for the purpose of representing Ayurveda as an independent and comprehensive traditional system of medicine and is committed to promoting and protecting the practice of authentic Ayurveda with a view to improving peoples health and well being.
All APA full members are fully qualified Ayurvedic practitioners who abide by the APA Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct and have valid indemnity insurance. They are trained to diagnose and prescribe Ayurvedic remedies, give nutrition and lifestyle advice and administer Ayurvedic treatments. All APA associate members are qualified in Ayurvedic massage and/or Ayurvedic nutrition and lifestyle advice up to the required APA standards.
